We have signed an agreement with Marriott International to launch the AC Hotels by Marriott brand in the Czech Republic
The management of the Redstone development group has signed a cooperation agreement with Marriott International. The shared goal is to open two modern hotels in Pardubice and Olomouc under the AC Hotels by Marriott brand, which is not yet represented in the Czech Republic. They will be part of the complexes of multifunctional business and social centres now under preparation. Once completed, they will be among the largest and most luxurious in their locations, and will open up new opportunities for both cities.
AC Hotels by Marriott comprises more than 225 hotels in 33 countries. At AC Hotels, every detail is designed and refined to ensure that guests enjoy a perfect experience. They are characterised by effectively designed distinctive spaces that strike the perfect balance between form and function.
“AC by Marriott impressed us with its style and focus on guests’ experiences. This dynamically growing network offers high-quality services for a modern lifestyle. Pardubice and Olomouc will be the first Czech cities to join the cities featuring this prestigious hotel brand. This will boost trade, congresses and tourism,” says Richard Morávek, Redstone Group founder.
“We are very happy about AC Hotels’ planned début in the Czech Republic. I am confident that the modern design and intuitive services of the AC Hotels brand will be a great fit for both international and local travellers. The Czech Republic is an important market for Marriott and I am pleased that we can work with such renowned partners as the Redstone Group”, said Janusz Mitulski, Senior Director Central & Eastern Europe, Marriott International.
The hotels are scheduled to open in 2027. The interior design of both projects is being handled by Twenty2degrees under the direction of Nicholas Stoupas. The construction of the complexes will go hand in hand with the construction of Galerie Pernerka and the expansion of Galerie Šantovka.
In Pardubice, the developer plans a multifunctional complex combining office space and housing with a commercial and social centre. The hotel will offer 149 rooms on eight floors. It will include a restaurant, fitness centre and meeting rooms.
In Olomouc, the developer plans to connect the hotel with the construction of the second stage of the Galerie Šantovka shopping centre, which is already one of the most successful projects in the Czech Republic. The new section will focus more on leisure, culture, entertainment and food, as opposed to retail, and construction of a progressive theatre scene is also envisaged. The hotel facilities offer a total of 204 rooms on 11 floors. It will include a rooftop restaurant, a daytime AC Lounge with a bar, conference and lounge facilities connected to the convention centre, a fitness centre and a spa.
